The Eastern Buckeye Conference (EBC) Superintendents unanimously voted to increase ticket prices for the upcoming 2024-2025 athletic season. This adjustment, the first in over a decade, reflects the conference’s commitment to maintaining the quality of its high school and middle school athletic programs amid rising operational costs.
Beginning in the 2024-2025 season, ticket prices will be adjusted as follows:
High School Athletic Events:
General Admission: $8
Student Tickets: $5
Middle School Athletic Events:
General Admission: $6
Student Tickets: $3
The decision to raise ticket prices was made after thorough consideration and extensive discussions among conference Superintendents, Athletic Directors, and League Commissioners. This increase will assist in offsetting the rising expenses associated with high school athletics, ensuring that the EBC and its member schools can continue to support and enhance its programs.
“We understand the impact that ticket price increases can have on our fans, and this decision was not made lightly,” said Jim Carmichael, EBC Commissioner. “Ticket prices have remained unchanged for over ten years, and this adjustment is necessary to keep pace with rising costs. Our priority is to ensure that we provide the best possible experience for our student-athletes and fans while continuing to explore alternative funding methods to minimize future price increases.”
The Eastern Buckeye Conference and its member schools remain committed to exploring additional avenues for generating revenue to keep ticket prices as affordable as possible.
