AMS Media Center will host a Scholastic Book Fair 10/4 - 10/10. Grandparents will have the opportunity to shop with your grandchild on October 7th. Watch for a book fair flier coming soon!

The 6th grade choir students celebrated Constitution Day by learning a Constitution Rap to help remind us about facts related to the constitution! Ask a 6th grade choir member to perform it for you!

Representing Mrs. Cody's middle school class as Star Student of the Week is Joey White. Joey tries his best on a daily basis. He also helps his friends by doing kind things for them. Way to go Joey!!

Mrs. Cody's class studied about Patriot Day and had a hands on activity with constructing their own towers with plastic cups working cooperatively together on the project.

Students in Medical Detectives culminated their learning of vital signs by taking part in the Blood Pressure and Heart Rate lab. Students were able to measure both vital signs and compare among the norms and their peers.


The 6th grade team of Mrs. Zavarelli, Mr. Dustman and Mr. Horning are off to Camp! Good luck and have fun!

The Alliance City Health Department provides immunizations to the following VFC eligible children:
-Children who do not have any form of health insurance
-Children who have one of the Medicaid Insurances: CareSource, Buckeye, United Healthcare Community, Molina or Paramount
-Children who are Under-Insured (parent must provide insurance documentation of under –insured status)
Cost is $20 per immunization; sliding fee scale is available. Shots are free with an eligible Medicaid card (see list above).
Parents must bring insurance card and shot record to the appointment. Child must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian. No child who is VFC eligible will be turned away due to inability to pay.
All Immunization clinics are by appointment only. Please call 330-821-7373 X 20.
